Calorie saving dressings

Here comes some recepies for very delicious but low calorie dressings for salads and barbecue. I love food, but as many of you, I wouldn’t t mind to loose 5 kg before the summer 😉

Mango and pineapple salsa

  • One can of corn
  • One can of pineapple chunks or crushed
  • One package of frozen mango
  • Honey
  • Lemon juice
  • Paprika spice
  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Chilipepper spice
  • Cumin (optional)

Take out a bowl and add 1/3 of corn, 1/3 of mango and 1/3 of pineapple. Chop onion and garlic and add to the mix. Squeeze over lemon and add some honey. Add paprika and chilli spice. Done!

Mojo rojo

  • Grilled paprika (from a can)
  • One package of white beans
  • One spoon of oil
  • Chili spice
  • Onion or onion powder
  • Garlic
  • Cumin
  • Water

Here you need a mixer. Put in one half of the grilled paprika and one half of the white beans in to the mixer. Add around 1-2 table spoons of oil. Add chili, onion powder, garlic, cumin and water. Mix everything together and taste. Add more spices if needed.

Thai dressing 

  • Boiling water
  • Sesame oil
  • Few drops of fish sauce
  • Sugar
  • Lime
  • Garlic
  • Fresh chili
  • Ginger (otional)
  • Coriander (optional)

Add one teaspoon of sugar, one tablespoons of sesame oil, and two tablespoons of hot water into a small bowl. Add chopped garlic and chili. Pour in a few drops of fish sauce. Let rest for one hour. Optional: Add in some chopped coriander.

Tofu aioli 

  • Silk tofu ( it is very important that it is Silk tofu, otherwise the dressing will be mushy)
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic cloves
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt

Mix around 300 g of tofu with 3 table spoons of olive oil, lemon juice, salt and two-three garlic cloves, until smooth. Adjust the amount of salt, lemon and garlic according to taste.
